Dr. Drew Says Jesse James Is A Sex Addict . . . And Sandra Bullock Is A Love Addict

As usual, DR. DREW has it all figured out: JESSE JAMES is a SEX ADDICT . . . and SANDRA BULLOCK is a LOVE ADDICT.

--Ultimately, these two types don't mix, according to Dr. Drew, and this marriage should END.

--He says, quote, "If I were treating Sandra I would advise her to leave Jesse James. They don't have a long life together, it's been a relatively short term relationship. There is no doubt to me that this relationship is over.

--"Jesse is a sex addict and Sandra is a love addict. Sex addicts go for power and intensity, and that intensity is probably what attracted Sandra to Jesse. However, that intensity is not love, it's addiction.

--"Sandra probably didn't give Jesse that level of intensity that he got with the mistresses.

--"Jesse is probably a very nice guy, but it's simply not a good combo for a sex addict and a love addict to be in a relationship. I'm going to make a prediction that Jesse is probably not going to change."

$$$$$ Get That MONEY $$$$$ From the *&$&(

A woman in North Carolina successfully filed a lawsuit against her husband's mistress for 9 MILLION Bucks!

Insane! How is that even possible???

Well, there is an centuries-old law in seven states of the U.S. called the "alienation of affection" law. The ruling allows spouses to sue third parties that have interfered with the sanctity of their marriages.

So, Cynthia Shackelford dragged the "woman of questionalable Morals" to court to have her confess to screwing her husband. When the case was reviewed, the jury found the mistress guilty and rewarded Cynthia one hell of an amount in damages. In fact, it was the jury that came up with the $9 million!

Must have been a lot of scorned people in that courtroom!

Maybe now a "woman of questionable morals" will think twice before boinking a married man, especially if you live in North Carolina!

TV networks win battle with cable companies, but war ahead

By Jennifer Ditchburn, The Canadian Press

GATINEAU, Que. - Those CTV and Global shows that come into your home courtesy of a cable or satellite company could soon hike your monthly bill - or even go dark - following a landmark ruling on how money flows in the broadcasting system.

The TV networks won their fight Monday before the country's broadcast regulator to negotiate a fee for their signal with cable and satellite providers, who have never paid before for those transmissions.

But the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) also wants the Federal Court of Appeal to review the new "value for signal" system before it kicks in.

And the Conservative government will have to decide whether it can live with the decision, or balk against the threat of increased costs for consumers by prescribing a different scenario.

The broadcasters had warned that the future of local TV programming depended on their getting a solid new source of revenue, with advertising dollars drying up and audience numbers dwindling. The cable companies posted an 11.9 per cent rise in revenues in 2009, a recessionary year.

If the court gives the green light, the industry and consumers will be in for a wild ride. Suddenly, cable and satellite companies would be forced to negotiate with conventional broadcasters for payment to carry their signals.

CRTC chairman Konrad von Finckenstein underlines that payment can be in exchange for other considerations, and doesn't necessarily always involve cash changing hands. He is skeptical - as he was during last fall's consultation period - that consumers will see the cable bill hikes executives have been warning of.

"It's not the only game in town, after all consumers can watch all of this on the Internet for free, and they might do that if you raise your cable company's freight too high... " he told The Canadian Press.

"It's in the parties' own self interest to come up with a solution that's in the best interest of the consumer."

CTV's corporate vice-president Paul Sparkes celebrated the commission's decision.

"They have recognized that there is value associated with the content that we produce, so we're very happy with that," said Sparkes.

"I'd like to thank the thousands of Canadians who wrote in to the CRTC in support of our position and in support of local television."

However, the cable and satellite firms repeated their warnings of higher costs for consumers.

"Consumers are going to see increased bills on monthly basis for access to local programming, and that's the part that I find rather sad," said Mirko Bibic, Bell's senior vice-president of regulatory and government affairs.

Rogers vice-chairman Phil Lind added: "We think the CRTC has essentially placed a tax on cable and satellite customers, so they're going to pay more..."

TV stations would be able to withhold their signals completely from a cable or satellite company if they don't like the way negotiations are going. Because they pay for the rights of a given television show in a given season, the cable firm would be blocked completely from transmitting it in any capacity.

In the United States, viewers saw this month what can happen when there's such a dispute: there was a short, rare blackout at the beginning of the Oscars broadcast as a cable and broadcast giant duked it out.

On the other hand, broadcasters will give up all their protections in the current system if they opt for getting paid for their signals. A cable company can drop them from their packages and give them whatever position they want on the dial.

The commission can be brought in to mediate a negotiation at the request of the parties.

Some broadcasters might prefer not to negotiate and simply live under the current system, which the CRTC says is their other option.

The CBC has been excluded from the new regime, and will not get that revenue stream - a stunning disappointment to the public broadcaster.

Private broadcasters will also get more flexibility in how much they spend on Canadian programming and how they move it around their various stations.

The CRTC now says it will look at how much a broadcasting group, including specialty and pay channels, spends on Canadian programming as a whole. It will require 30 per cent of its spending be on Canadian shows, but will allow those networks to divvy the share up among all its channels.

Groups that represented actors, producers and the viewing public criticized the ruling as not going far enough to ensure the stability of the domestic television system and Canadian programming within it.

"It was a business-as-usual decision, punting the opinion to the Federal Court of Appeal, which is months if not years away...," said Ian Morrison of the Friends of Canadian Broadcasting.

"It's pretty difficult to negotiate on the basis of withdrawing your product from the market, it's certainly not in the interest of the viewers, and the CRTC has a responsibility to stick up for the viewers."

A second report that overlaps Monday's decision, in response to a direct order by the Conservative government to examine the Canadian broadcasting environment, is to be released Tuesday.

Heritage Minister James Moore sent out a vague statement after the ruling. He has been unequivocal in his opposition to increased costs for consumers, yet MPs within the Tory caucus are also alarmed by the possibility of more local TV closures in their ridings.

"Our government's primary focus has always been the interests of Canadian consumers," said Moore. "We appreciate today's decision of the CRTC on the future of an important industry for all Canadians."

The Conservative cabinet overturned the CRTC's decision on wireless provider Globalive in December, allowing the company access to the Canadian market after the commission had turned them down.

But the process for going against a broadcasting decision is much more arduous than that for telecom decisions. The government would have to come up with an entirely new policy, based on the Broadcasting Act, and direct the commission to follow through with it.

"I would have thought that a solution whereby the players in the market work out the differences between themselves would be something that would appeal to the government," said von Finckenstein.

To Sum up, I'll be cancelling my Cable and watching shows online already paying too much for nothing on tv. Thanks.

OMFG!! I Gotta get 'em

So last night on a hunt for a movie called The Chase, we ended up at Best Buy. Im a gadget freak, love things that will do things for me.....but, Last night I found myself looking at headphones I haven't met a person in radio yet who doesn't want or have a great set of headphones. I really wanted a pair of the Dr. Dre headphones....until I found these......BOSE Noise Cancelling headphones. They have a little test area set up so you can listen to them, and see if you like the sound. So what the hell, I gave it a shot, as soon as I popped the headphones on, ALL OF THE BACKGROUND NOISE IN THE STORE DISAPPEARED!!! I was all....WTF really, took them off, put them on, took them off, Im already impressed. Then I pressed the play button, part of the little demo they had set up was they have a speaker facing you that makes the same noise you hear on an airplane....I didn't know that until I took the headphones off. FAN-FLIPPIN-TASTIC!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE them. What my pocket doesn't love is the 400 dollar price tag, although I have to say this THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY, DIME, QUARTER, LOONIE AND TWOONIE!
:( Im gonna need a raise....or maybe they do lay-away..... Next time you in the store, check them out, I think you'll be impressed.

Text Messages that self destruct! Tiger Text

Found this story on, thought it was interesting.....

SAN FRANCISCO (AFP) - A California start-up on Thursday went international with a TigerText iPhone application that lets people kill embarrassing text messages after they have been sent out.

X Sigma Partners founder Jeffrey Evans said that massive interest in TigerText prompted the firm to speed up the release of versions for other countries as well as for BlackBerry smartphones.

"We've been getting email from people all around the world and our website has been hit much more than we ever imagined from international users," Evans told AFP.
English-language Tigertext applications for iPhones became available through Apple's online iTunes shop Thursday in Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Israel, and Canada.

"We were shocked at the number of requests for TigerText from mobile users overseas," said Evans.

While declining to reveal exact figures, Evans said that thousands of people have been signing up daily for TigerText since the service launched in the United States in February.

A test version crafted for newer model BlackBerry smartphones was released Thursday in the United States and Canada. is a text message trail-covering application. People receiving Tigertext messages are prompted to download the application for free in order to read the contents, which are not actually sent to the recipient's phone.

Instead, messages are hosted on the company's servers where they can be erased when senders wish.

Sent messages can be deleted on demand or be set to automatically vanish after a specified period. A "delete on read" feature starts a 60 second countdown when a text message is opened and then erases it at zero.

Evans said inspiration for the application came from years he spent working in job placement and seeing how extensively potential employers mine the Internet for postings, comments or other insights regarding candidates.

"If you send a private text message it should stay private," Evans said. "I thought it would be great if messages would self-destruct in 60 seconds..."

"When the message is gone from us, it's gone," he added.

TigerText messages cannot be saved, copied or forwarded by recipients.

While reading messages is free, the service costs 1.99 dollars (US) per month for limitless messaging or 19.99 dollars for annual subscriptions to the service.

6 strategies for sexier dates

6 strategies for sexier dates
Christopher DeLorenzo
Taken from

You've met someone you really like, and you share an intense attraction for one another. Congratulations!

Now how do you keep that chemistry alive?

You could be bold and risk your relationship by becoming too physical too fast, but since that isn't what true intimacy is all about, why not consider some other options? Try these six sultry strategies to make your date sexier:

1. Take a dip
Water is very sensuous and often associated with eroticism. Showing off your new bathing suit and some skin can be a real turn-on, so why not consider a day at the beach, the lake or even your local swimming pool? It's a fun date with plenty of activity and even some decent exposure.

2. Tempt your senses
Indian food is especially great, because of its beautifully pungent fragrances, tantalizing textures and sumptuous flavors. Thai food has similar qualities, but some people enjoy more common aphrodisiacs, like oysters and chocolate-covered cherries. Be daring and feed one another.

3. Share a steamy movie No, not that kind of movie! Instead think Kama Sutra or Eyes Wide Shut, both of which could add verve to your erotic vibe.

4. Explore erotica
Don't be taken in by some college students' faux reading. Plenty of gay and lesbian bookstores and literary groups sponsor erotica readings in most large cities. These groups inevitably draw some great talent, and hearing the work read aloud is, ahem... inspiring, to say the least. It's a fun way to get a little hot under the collar without ever removing your shirt.

5. Dance
I'm not encouraging a bump and grind on the dance floor that might have you renting a room, but dancing with someone to music you both enjoy is both sensual and romantic.

6. Create an amorous abode
There's nothing more romantic than having your partner over for a candlelit meal and some make-out music. Who says you have to go out to have a sexy date? Remember what Dorothy said in the Wizard of Oz? "Sometimes you don't have to look any further than you own backyard."
