YEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

It's soooooo 1984... for Realz though

YOUR SMART PHONE IS WATCHING YOU!!!! WHICH MEANS STEVE JOBS KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW......IF YOU HAVE A ANDROID.....GOOGLE IS PAYING ATTENTION TO YOUR EVERY MOVE!

Okay that may be a little extreme...or is it?? Incase you haven't read 1984, here is the Plot summary from Summarycental.com....

In 1984, Winston Smith lives in London which is part of the country Oceania. The world is divided into three countries that include the entire globe: Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia. Oceania, and both of the others, is a totalitarian society led by Big Brother, which censors everyone’s behavior, even their thoughts. Winston is disgusted with his oppressed life and secretly longs to join the fabled Brotherhood, a supposed group of underground rebels intent on overthrowing the government. Winston meets Julia and they secretly fall in love and have an affair, something which is considered a crime. One day, while walking home, Winston encounters O’Brian, an inner party member, who gives Winston his address. Winston had exchanged glances with O’Brian before and had dreams about him giving him the impression that O’Brian was a member of the Brotherhood. Since Julia hated the party as much as Winston did, they went to O’Brian’s house together where they were introduced into the Brotherhood. O’Brian is actually a faithful member of the Inner-Party and this is actually a trap for Winston, a trap that O’Brian has been cleverly setting for seven years. Winston and Julia are sent to the Ministry of Love which is a sort of rehabilitation center for criminals accused of thoughtcrime. There, Winston was separated from Julia, and tortured until his beliefs coincided with those of the Party. Winston denounces everything he believed him, even his love for Julia, and was released back into the public where he wastes his days at the Chestnut Tree drinking gin.

Soooo, if you have an iPhone or an Android Phone BEWARE! in released statements from Apple & Google

-iPhones and iPads "collect time-stamped location coordinates" very frequently (as much as every few minutes
-Google Androids collect location data AND send it to Google for advertising purposes

for the sake of advertising eh?? Is it such a LONG slide to a "Big Brother" type of spying on Citizens, even for the purpose of Advertising? I don't want my phone anymore! I don't want them to know when I go to the mall, or the bookstore, the beach.......etc etc......

The Queen's Official Consent

Can you Imagine what it has to be like to be Kate...excuse me Catherine Middleton??! 1 Billion people will be watching YOUR Wedding.....you've had to design Decoy wedding Dressing so no one will spoil the surprise, you've had to take classes on becoming a Princess, and once you are Married you can't play Monopoly...no real reason aside from the rumour that the Royals get far too worked up and the games becomes vicious....(what's a little Monopoly Amongst family??)

But now it has finally come out publicly THE Royal Blessing for the wedding....

Ummm....I want one of those! So Fancy!

via People.com here the scoop

The Queen's formal consent to the marriage was unveiled Thursday, which happens to be her 85th birthday. Under the Great Seal of the Realm, she signed an elaborate notice of approval that proclaimed, in transcribed calligraphy, consent to the union of "Our Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales, K.G., and Our Trusty and Well-Beloved Catherine Elizabeth Middleton."

The Seal of The Realm....Wowzah!

The couple gets to keep it after the wedding. Fascinating really all of the hoops Kate...I mean Catherine has had to jump through. Supposedly she's started SMOKING under the stress of it all....she should have taken up Kick Boxing or something...then again it's easier to smoke a 4:27 in the morning when you can't sleep than it is to go to the gym......either way, it'll be over soon Catherine, try to find a way to enjoy the ride...LOTS of girls would LOVE to marry a Prince, which is part of the reason why so many people are watching so closely.

The province is taking steps to make roads safer and more efficient with new legislation that comes into effect May 1. It requires drivers to yield the right of way to buses signalling their intention to re-enter traffic.

"Buses now must rely on the courtesy of drivers to re-enter traffic. This legislation will provide clarity for all drivers while helping to reduce schedule delays," said Bill Estabrooks, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal.

"This legislation will make life better for all drivers and passengers by improving public transit efficiency and safety."

Fines for failing to yield to a transit bus range from $167 to $340, including court costs.

"Kings Transit applauds the province's leadership in providing greater road safety for our public transit system" said Ron Mullins, general manager, Kings Transit Authority.

This legislation was modelled after similar laws in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec. The amendment was initially proposed in the fall 2007 sitting of the legislature as a private members bill.

The province is launching a public awareness campaign this month including print, radio, transit, and online ads reminding drivers of the new law. More information on the new legislation can be found on the department's website at http://www.gov.ns.ca/tran/

1 BILLION PEOPLE...seriously...no Pressure

When Williams Parents got married in '81 750 Million people watched in 70 Countries....Estimates for William and Kate's wedding?? 1 BILLION

I am guilty of being completly interested in the wedding and the relationship between these two. What girl has never day dreamed about catching a Prince? Kate is living the dream and a lot of us are living it through her.

For real though....1 BILLION people......and 1 BILLION opinions.....scary! Something tells me, Kate will do fine, and I feel like William will tell peeps to cram it...in an elegant royal kinda way.
